Professional Life

I’m the Web & Digital Media Manager for Belmont University. In my role, I’m responsible for the development of strategies for web, social, video and other digital media that creatively and effectively support University Marketing & Public Relations’ efforts to advance the strategic priorities of the University. I lead digital marketing team in development, implementation and production of related campaigns or projects. Through strong collaboration with campus partners, I also lead effort to continuously evaluate and improve web, social and video content. I’m also the chair of the Social Media Administration Team, which oversees the University’s flagship Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, SoundCloud and YouTube accounts. I also supervise the Boulevard Team, Belmont’s social media student street team.

Everything Else

I enjoy spending time with my wife and son.  I also enjoy the nerdier things in life, including some gaming, researching topics no one else would care about, good science fiction and Apple products.  I’m also an on and off runner.

I also co-host and co-produce the Higher Ed Social podcast with Jackie Vetrano. The show was created with the intention of using an informal weekly interview of higher education professionals across departments and campus locations to better educate listeners about what happens in higher education. The podcast is a casual way to introduce professionals to the rest of the field, while also diving into what makes these individuals who they are outside of the office.
